while i was looking for the ultimate comments to be sent back home for icong's wedding, i bumped into a card that says "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue". then i recall an episode from "Friends" when Monica wanted to get married in Vegas, she was also looking for all those things associated with that something something.
Now, as much as i think my knowledge on western culture is intermediate, i am clueless on this one. I dont know why all those things are needed in a wedding?
Care to enlight me?
At 1.39 AM. i got the answer. dont you just love the internet?

SATC the movie
at last.. i can now say I watched SATC. damn right i DID.
i am inclined to agree with most comment that says that this movie was not 'all it's crack up to be' BUT i still think it's good. quoting some guy online "this movie gives a good closure to the series'.
i shamely admit that i did shed tears and didnt actually think that im that BIG of a fan. turns out im a HUGE fan :D
again, a sucker for feel-good-movies with modern cinderella tale.
wish all my bitches are with me, it would be perfect.
ps: i really think miranda was overdressed, as i remember she was this sleek-business-attire chick, i mean dress up, just not that much.

Cinderella Syndrome
while growing up, i was always a big fan of movies and basically mostly everything on TV. probably because i didnt have any siblings to play and fight with, yes just in case you didnt notice i am an ONLY child. :D
one of my biggest favorite movies is of course Cinderella. the idea that there will be someone who is going to come and rescue me stick with me all this time, well it has decreased as grew up but it is still there - me wanting my own knight in shining armor.
as i am trying to get my intl law exam done, the movie "Wedding Planner" was on TV and i've watched it a 'gezillion' times before. but still the romance felt real and the feeling of getting someone you love and marrying them is an unbelievable feeling that i would like to experience in the future.
anyway.. my point is that, this particular sensation that i get even after seeing this movie or any feel-good-movie-with-modern-version-of-cinderella-syndrome still gets me. im a sucker for cinderella movies - modern or obsolete. they all have the same idea, there will always be a knight for every "not-so-royal-and-lucky" princess.
*wink *wink
